Throwback Thursday

Here is my picture for today. This was when I was a weeeee little baby and I had blonde hair. When I tell people I was born with blonde hair and blue eyes they do not believe me when here is proof that I had blonde hair. This was taken during my birthday I think and my grandmother was feeding me cake.

I want to see your throwback Thursday picture so post it in a comment below!

Sunday Best!

Hey everyone! so I am here with a make-up look that is one of my favorites when I have some place to be like church or a nice dinner. I think it is very sophisticated and it gives your eyes a nice glow. Definitely a good look for a summer night or Sunday best! Any of the products in this tutorials have dupes
and can be replaced with other colors as well.

Okay lets get started. I have recently changed my foundation routine to something lighter because it is starting to get hot and way to humid for me. So I recently purchase Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream. I just apply that all over my face.
Then I start to conceal and right now I am using three concealers because they all work differently. I am still using Covergirl Concealer Stick in shade light because I am trying to use the product all the way up before I buy another. I ended up purchasing another concealer because I had lost my Covergirl one but then I found it. So the one I purchase is NYC Liquid Concealer in shade 787 Medium. This concealer is better for under eye circles because it does not crease and it definitely brightens the under eye. So I apply Covergirl on my blemishes, down my nose, and on my eyelids. Then I use my Maybelline's Age Rewind Under Eye Concealer and my NYC concealer to conceal and highlight my under eye circles. Then I do my eyebrows and set everything. Depending on your mood you can contour if you want but I did not because it would melt right off. Now for the fun part and you have to start of priming your eyes with any kind of primer I like to Two Faced Shadow Insurance. Then I like to put a base shadow and I use Brule by MAC. The I took four colors from the Urban Decay Vice Palette which is Echo Beach, Penny lane, Muse, and Desperation. I took Echo Beach and placed it all over my lid and this color is like a sand champagne. Then I took Muse and placed it on the outer corner of my eye and blended it into the crease. Muse is a deep brown with copper and gold shimmer. I wanted the crease to be a little bit darker so I only took just a littler of Desperation and blended it into the crease. Desperation is a dark gray and can almost appear black on the lid and that is why I took only a little. Then I took a little bit of Penny Lane and applied it to the center of my lid to act as a highlight color. Then to highlight the inner corner of my eyes I used Stila eye shadow in shade Kitten and this is one of my favorite eye shadows right now it is the frostiest color ever. After that I took a really thin eye liner brush and Maybelline's Master Duo Liquid Liner and applied a fine line from the inner to the outer corner and I winged it out just a little bit. For mascara I used Maybelline's The Rocket Mascara. My blush I used a cream Blush from Maybelline called Dream Bouncy Blush in 05 Fresh Pink. Then I wanted to go with a natural matte lip so I used Sally Hansen Lipstick in shade Perfect Pink. This is the completed look I hope you guys like it.

Have a beautiful day!

Benefit's They're Real Review

Hey everyone! Here is my review on Benefit's They're Real Mascara. I got this about month ago when I got my birthday gift from Sephora. It is the travel size which usually cost about ten dollars and the normal size tube cost abut 30$. I was really excited to get this mascara because all the beauty gurus were raving about it. There was so much hype about this product that I was expecting so much from it. Because if it is truly a great product people will rave.
Anyways I have had this product for about a month or so and I do like it. I tend to use up my mascara around the 6 month mark right when they expire. So the travel size I will probably use up in 3 months time.although I do have another mascara so it might be longer then that. So the travel size is about 0.1 oz which is not a lot and I do not think its worth the 10$. Honestly I was not impressed with this mascara. I think there was to much hype around the product. This mascara is a very light in application so if you want thicker application go with Maybelline The Rocket or something other then this. This does not make my lashes look fuller which makes me sad. It does help with with volume but not by much I get better volume out of Maybelline's Lash Stiletto Mascara. I did not even get any compliments when I wore this mascara. When I applied Maybelline's The Rocket Mascara someone asked me if I was wearing false lashes and to me that is compliment and ironic because the name is "They're Real." They should of produce a product worthy of that name. I will say that I love the brush of this
product because if you take a look at this picture. You can see the normal wand and at the end it has a ball shape brush at the end that can help reach inner and outer corner lashes.
Do I think this travel size is worth 10$?
No
Do I think the regular size is worth 30$?
No
Would I buy this product?
No
Are there better brands that can do much more for lashes?
Yes. There are multiple brands that can do so much more for your lashes. They cost way less too.
Do I think you are beautiful with out mascara?
Yes of course! No one needs make-up everyone is beautiful in there own way and do not ever forget that!

I love you guys and I think you are all beautiful :)

Have a great day!

Boscia BB Cream Review

Alright, This review is on Boscia which is a high end BB cream that they sell at Sephora. While I was there I was interested in other purchase but this lady asked me if I was interested in a sample this BB cream and she was telling me all about it. It won some awards for best BB cream and the reason why is only has one shade is because it matches to your appropriate skin tone. As you can tell you 1.75 oz of this BB cream for 38.00$. I think that is a lot of money and way to over priced for something that sucks so bad. I was able to get a sample and I used it everyday for a week and it did nothing for my skin except leaving it oily. And it gets worse there is actually glitter or freaking shimmer in the BB cream. I do not know about you guys but I hate having glitter in my foundation or anything besides eye shadow or lip gloss. I am not talking about just a little shimmer no full on glitter. My boyfriend noticed I was wearing make-up ( never good when people can tell you are wearing make-up) he was telling me I had glitter on my face. So I took a look and what do you know glitter was all over my face. I was really upset but I continued to use it so I could see the benefits but there were none. You are better off buying some cheap no name brand from a truck in an alley then to use this. Sorry Boscia you are not good. I will have a review on a drugstore BB cream that cost 3 times less than this nonsense.

I hope you guys are having a beautiful day!! :)

My Everyday Make-up Routine

This picture was taken when I finished my make-up. My hair is not finished and I am in pj's. So do not judge me if I look like somewhat of a mess. Okay so this post is obviously on my everyday makeup look. But in the past couple of days I have changed from everyday make-up look for the summer. It is definitely lighter application.

First I start with my Covergirl Concealer Stick in shade Light. I apply that down my nose and my eyelids and on any blemishes. I use my Maybelline Age Rewind Under Eye Circles for my under eye bags. I use the triangle trick and if you do not know what I am talking about check out my earlier post on how to get rid of under eye circles. I take my favorite powder brush by Mary Kay and apply Bare Minerals in N20 Medium Beige. I some times contour so I use Faux by Bare Minerals. Check out my contouring and highlighting routine post if you want more details. I do my eye brows and powder down with Translucent Veil by Bare Minerals. What makes this make-up so simple and this is why I do it everyday is because I use only two eye shadows that make me look more awake. The first shadow I use is a all over base color from Mac called Brule and the next eye shadow which is the newest shadow that I have purchased is from Stila called Kitten. I apply that all over my lid and I apply mascara and I am done with my eyes. I put a light color blush any will do and I put a pink color lipstick. All Done!

I hope you guys are having a beautiful day!
