5 Minute Make-up

Hey everyone this make-up look is for mommys or teens or basically anybody that is on the go and I guarantee you that it is 5 minutes or even less because yo are not going to be doing much detail. Lets get started, I started off with concealing my under eyes circles with "Maybelline age rewind eraser dark circles"and then of course I concealed my blemishes. After that I didn't use my regular foundation I used a BB cream by Boscia. I like BB creams because it is really easy to apply and they can be buildable so you don't have to use concealer if you don't want to. It's just a quick Application of BB cream. I just used one layer and I was ready then of course I said it with my powder from bare minerals and translucent and then I didn't do my regular highlighting or contouring routine because that's not really important. I did apply primer on my eyelid which is "Two Faced Shadow insurance" and then on top of that I just used a light eye shadow color by Mac and the shade Brule. A lighter shade on the eye will make you look more awake as well as concealing your under eyes. After that I use Maybelline The Rocket mascara and for my blush I just use Maybelline Dream bouncy blush in a fresh pink and for my lips I just use a tinted lip balm by Maybelline its Baby Lips in pink punch. Then I wanted a little gloss so I used covergirl Wetslicks fruit spritzers in guava splash. This is an extra step it's also optional if you have time but I have to have to have to fill in my eyebrows before I go out anywhere. I use two colors and that is a brown from the Almay Trio palette and then I use desperation from Vice palette by Urban Decay. Then all you have to do is get dressed and braid your hair or put your hair in a up do and you're ready for work. I hope you enjoy this. I hope this helps a lot basically my goal for a simple 5 minute makeup is just to look more awake than I was and I just use the lightest colors to look more natural. If you have any other makeup looks just leave a comment below and I will definitely do that make up look for you I hope you guys are having a beautiful day and I love you guys. -Brittanie Cruz Blank Canvas

Skin Loving Haul!

Hey everyone! This is a skin loving haul that I thought I would share with you. I have been shopping around for new skin products and I did my research and Olay Fresh Effects got good ratings. I thought I would try it out so I bought the Make-up Remover Wipes and the Exfoliate. I will do a review on these two products but it will take a while to see what the results are. Awhile back I tried the Freeman Dead Sea Mineral Mask.... OhMaGoodness. This stuff is amazing, well anything from the dead sea is amazing. But seriously I put this on and waited for it to dry. I washed it off and my skin was glowing and my skin has never felt so soft I could not stop touching it. I totally recommend these I will leave a link down below. Because I loved the Dead Sea Mask I went ahead and purchased 3 more masks. I repurchased the Dead Sea Mineral Mask, I purchased the Clay Mask Mint and Lemon, and also a Revealing Peel-off Mask Pomegranate. Then I purchased blotting papers because they were cheap and I needed some.

I hope you have a beautiful life.

February Favorites

FEBRUARY FAVORITES!!!!!!
Eeeekk!! so sorry this is late but I have been super busy. Better late then never, Anyways, I have a lot of favorites from last month because I wanted to try so many things for valentines day. There are some things that I used for a long time that deserved to be in a the favorites of last month because I used them like every single day. Lets get started! So first I have been using Mac eye shadow in Brule every day as a base layer on my lids up to the brow bone. I use BH cosmetics flat shader brush to apply it. I used this brush so much in the last month and I continue to use it this month as well. I really love liquid eyeliner and when I saw that Maybelline came out with the Master Duo I had to try and I loved it so I bought a second one in 520 Navy Gleam. I also bought Maybelline's Baby Lips because I thought I would give it a try again and I purchased Fruit Punch and it smells delicious but I wish it had taste to it. I also purchase Maybelline's Age Rewind Under Eye Circles because a bunch of girl on Beautylish recommended it to me. It works great I absolutely love it and there will be a review on it soon. I purchase LA Colors Nail Growth and Strength polish and I really liked it I only applied it twice and in 2 weeks my nails look great. Also a review on those will be coming out soon. In the very back there is a Covergirl Wetslicks and I do not know what flavor it is but it is so yummy. I have been wearing that every single time I want to apply lipgloss. Last but not least.... The product everyone has been raving about.... MAYBELLINE... THE ROCKET... Haha. everyone has been raving over this so I did buy and did a review on it. I do have a love hate relationship with this product but more love because it did make it to my favorites list. I just really love how it pronounces my lashes.
But my Number 1 favorite of February is.... This beautiful necklace that my boyfriend bought me for our 2nd Anniversary.

I hope everyone enjoyed this post. This does not by any means tells you to buy all the products. I am just simply expressing my opinion on the products.

Have a beautiful day :)

Review Maybelline's Rocket Mascara

Hey everyone here is a review for all you that have not purchased the Maybellines Rocket Mascara. What are you doing? Go purchase it. Just kidding after this review you can still debate whether you want to or not. As far as drugstore mascara goes this is pretty good. I apply just one coat and people compliment me and ask if I am wearing false lashes. So for 6$ it is very good quality as you can tell in the photos above. The first photo is an unedited picture of my eyes before applying Rocket. The second is an edited photo of my eyes after applying Rocket. (disclaimer: the second photo is edited but for lighter filter editing purposes.) The only problem that I have with this mascara is that it is impossible to remove and this is the non-waterproof one. I always hated that about drugstore mascara they are so difficult to get off. When I was using Bare Minerals Mascara it was so simple to remove. I have a love hate relationship with this product. I most likely will not repurchase this product because I hate buying drugstore mascara. This was a rare occasion because everyone was raving over this. The raving was appropriate because it is a great quality product. I would recommend this to people who are on a budget.

Hope this helps!

Staring Evil In The Face

This is actually a half&half I did not actually paint my entire face. I was searching through Google for ideas for fun make-up looks and I stumbled upon this cool half&half face. I thought it looked kind of devilish and evil. This is really fun for Halloween or just a costume party. It is really simple and all you need is white, black, and red face paint. Some paint brushes , baby powder, and matching eye shadow colors to set the paint. You can make any design you want I just use a stencil you create the red lines. One thing you should do when you are paining you face is to definitely prime your face. I use Almay correct and perfect face primer then I apply foundation.

I hope you enjoy and have fun with this look. If you have any crazy looks feel free to post a picture down below :) I would love to see all you creative scary make-up looks.

Have a beautiful day. Cyber hugs for everyone.

Foundation

A beautiful makeup starts with a beautiful foundation application. Now there are different types of foundation and formula and I'm going to go through all of them too help you understand which one is best for your skin.

Tinted moisturizers: This is for normal or normal dry skin. Gives this shear lightweight coverage and is alternative to foundation. Provides a totally natural look.

Tinted face balm: For extra dry skin. Provide sheer coverage intensively hydrate and gives skin a dewy finish. Balms actually plumps the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

Sticks foundation: For all skin types except oily. Provides easy spot coverage and is also buildable for medium to full coverage. Best foundation for photography.

Liquid foundation: For dry to extra dry skin. hydrates and smoothes providing medium to full coverage.

Moisturizing Compact: For dry to extra dry skin. Hydrating formulas provide medium to full coverage.

Whipped foundation: For combination skin and great for skin with texture. Balances the skin by hydrating dry areas and absorbing oil in the T zone. Provides median to full coverage.

Oil free liquid foundation: For oily skin. For combination skin in the summer. Absorbs oil and still smoothes while providing light to medium coverage.

Oil free cream foundation: For normal to oily skin. Absorbs oil providing medium to full coverage. A good choice to cover acne and large pores

Oil-free powder compact: For oily skin. Provides medium to full coverage. Because of the portable packaging compact foundations are great for touch ups

Mineral powders: Suggested for very oily skin (be careful when choosing color. Oily skin can change color of powders and they may appear dry and pasty.)

There are exceptions to the rules because many companies make different products for example something new that has been added or people have been raving over lately is BB cream which stands for beauty balm. It's a tinted moisturizer to help cure acne and also cover acne. I tried a BB cream a couple days ago when I went to Sephora and I really like it so I am going to do a review over it soon.
I preferably like light mineral powder Foundation. I use the Bare Minerals Originals and I really like it. It is really light weight and natural sometimes a lot of liquid foundations can really clog pores and cake so I tried powders and I just like them so much better.

I hope this helps. Feel free so ask me any questions :)

I love you guys and I hope everyone is having a beautiful day . I just want to give a shout out to my best friend Isaac, today is his birthday. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISAAC :)

Preparing face

Begin with these steps before applying any makeup. By this time you should know the type and condition of your skin from the previous skin analysis post. The next step is to decide which product will improve your skin condition. That includes determining what weight moisturizers are appropriate and whether an oil controlling gel, a skin soothing lotion, or a combination of skin care products is needed. Next you have to choose the right foundation formula for your skin. Options include stick foundation, lightweight tinted moisturizers, denser tinted balm, fuller coverage liquid foundation, powder, and oil free formulas. Picking the correct foundation shade is very important. If it is possible always try to match foundation to your face and not to your hand. Because we wash our hands more than our face it strips away the skin from our hands causing our face and hands to have different shades. select an under eye concealer 1 to 2 tones lighter than the foundation to highlight your under eye circles and determine if corrector are needed. Select the perfect shade of powder is in order.'to ensure that makeup stays fresh looking and last for hours you are going to need powder.Choose a lighter power to set concealer and that will double as an eye primer, and a deeper shade that works with the foundation tone. Always test the colors don't just pick randomly in hopes that it will match. You can never go wrong with translucent powder because it will blend with your foundation.

These kind of post are more for beginners to learn about make-up if you want more leave a comment below. If you want more information than just basic post then also let me know. I can be very flexible because at the end of the day I am doing this for you guys :)

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day
