Hey everyone! I miss you guys!
First off let me tell you what happen in my past week. Just completely chaos. I am so sorry for not posting but I did not have time to create make-up looks. Last weekend my cable and internet connection went out because the wire or main connection was broken in half. I was so mad because I had no connection and I could not even do my homework and I had a huge essay due Tuesday After it got fix I had Fine arts practice and all this week I have been working on my project because I have one month left until my competition date. Then of course my essay was due and my homework that I missed was due as well. I had absolutely no time to paint my self hahaha. So do not think I just abandoned you :)
"Would you like cheese with my wine" Enough. Moving on, this make-up look is called Pop Art and it has been really popular lately. I have seen a lot of photos on Tumblr. I wanted to join the bandwagon and give it a try. I think I did a pretty good job tell me what you think in a comment below.
I started with a primer and concealer I made sure that I concealed my entire face because for a comic character they are 2D. Then instead of foundation I put a light layer of white face paint. Then with black paint I took a liner brush or just a simple painting brush and lined my eyebrows, contoured my cheeks, lined my nostrils, down the nose, lined my chin, the inner corner of my eye, lined my whole entire outer face, including ears, lined two little lines in front of my eyebrows, and lined my lips. Then i primed my eyes with Two Faced Shadow Insurance and applied mix of two deep purples. One from the UD Vice Palette called Vice and another by UD called Psychedelic sister. I only applied that on my lid and no further then my crease. I took my eye liner then lined my lash line and winged it just a bit. I also lined my crease with the liner and connected it to the wing. The I took UD 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in black and lined my waterline. I applied Maybelline Very Cherry 635 lipstick on my lips and took some white paint and applied a highlight on the side of my lip. The final touch I took a red face paint and applied polka dots all over my face where there were no black lines. This is two additional steps applying mascara I used Maybelline The Rocket in black and I dyed my hair white/yellow. Ta-Da You are all done and ready to hit the cover of your favorite comic book.
I hope you guys enjoyed :)
I love you so much and remember you are beautiful
Have a great night :)

Blank Canvas
How do you define makeup? Is it a veil a covering for your face? Does it mask who you are? Or does it show who you want to be and not who you were? How you feel when you are yourself. Makeup should not cover the face to hide the person who you are. Do not hide the bumped nose and those exquisite features. You were made beautifully. Just like paint is not applied to cover the artwork that lies beneath but enhances the beauty of it. Your face is a canvas that hides the master creation within.
