First Impression

Hey everyone I'm back with a tutorial about first impressions I was trying to get a job at Sally's beauty store and I had to turn in my application. So everyone knows you have to look good even if you're just turning your application in or you want to meet the manager and make a good first impression. So that's what I wanted to do and I always thought your outfit was the most important but its not its your face and that's what this to tutorial is about. When you greet someone the first thing I notice is your face and how you express yourself next I look at how you hold yourself together what you're wearing and so this is what this tutorial is about.  When you're going in for an interview or just turning in your application or just wanting to meet the manager you always want to look your best you don't want to wear too much makeup or too little makeup and your outfit should be professional. I applied my regular foundation, contouring, and highlighting routine then I went and applied primer to my eyelid an added just a base of brule. And I wanted it to be really simple. I wanted a really thin liner nothing too dramatic so I took my Mary Kay angle brush and my Maybelline eyestudios duo and applied a thin line right above my lash line and winged it out just a little. Then I went ahead and applied mascara I used Maybelline the rocket. And for my blush I used Maybelline's fit me in a medium coral. And for my lips I didn't want anything to dramatic so I just used Maybelline Baby Lips in pink punch. Because I was just turning in my application I wasn't going in for an interview I wore a maxi skirt with tribal print on it with a black tank and I left my hair natural. So it was still elegant and sophisticated yet pretty casual to wear out during the day. So just remember that your face is most important because it's the first thing people see. So you just want to make a good first impression especially when you're applying at a beauty store you want everything to look perfect because you want to look like you know what you're doing. And the best thing to wear when you're going in for an interview or applying for a job is confidence so don't walk out the door without it.

I hope this helps and I hope everyone's having a beautiful day I know where I'm living it is sunny and warm and I'm so excited for summer I'll be coming out with more summer tutorials and outfits and I'm so excited to show you guys.

March Madness

Hey everyone! I am back and I have missed you guys a ton! I also have missed posting for you guys and March has been madness to say the least. I have not posted since March 14th so I have been gone for about a month. I am going to tell you why I decided to take a break from blogging. First, My spring break was the first full week of March and that within itself was crazy. During that week I got into a bad car accident. Yes! A car accident even though I do not drive. I was with a friend who was driving and we were heading back from the mall. We both did not see the red light and just kept going and T-boned the other car that was making a left turn. The impact turn our car completely around and I thank God that I only walked out with a bruised sternum. I was pretty medicated the last couple of days of my spring break so I posted some on the blog. Week after that I started school which was pretty crazy and I also I had received some bad reports which I will not share. Then my boyfriend and I spent our birthday having a nice lunch and just hanging out for that weekend. After that I realized I only had a couple of weeks left before my competition which I am excited to show you guys my make-up for it. I had to get started on it ASAP and I almost finished. I just had to give up some time to finish the art pieces that I am entering. But after Competition I will definitely be posting more I have some exciting post for you guys. I just had a lot of personal issues going on in March. But I hope you like the new stuff I will be posting.

5 Minute Make-up

Hey everyone this make-up look is for mommys or teens or basically anybody that is on the go and I guarantee you that it is 5 minutes or even less because yo are not going to be doing much detail. Lets get started, I started off with concealing my under eyes circles with "Maybelline age rewind eraser dark circles"and then of course I concealed my blemishes. After that I didn't use my regular foundation I used a BB cream by Boscia. I like BB creams because it is really easy to apply and they can be buildable so you don't have to use concealer if you don't want to. It's just a quick Application of BB cream. I just used one layer and I was ready then of course I said it with my powder from bare minerals and translucent and then I didn't do my regular highlighting or contouring routine because that's not really important. I did apply primer on my eyelid which is "Two Faced Shadow insurance" and then on top of that I just used a light eye shadow color by Mac and the shade Brule. A lighter shade on the eye will make you look more awake as well as concealing your under eyes. After that I use Maybelline The Rocket mascara and for my blush I just use Maybelline Dream bouncy blush in a fresh pink and for my lips I just use a tinted lip balm by Maybelline its Baby Lips in pink punch. Then I wanted a little gloss so I used covergirl Wetslicks fruit spritzers in guava splash. This is an extra step it's also optional if you have time but I have to have to have to fill in my eyebrows before I go out anywhere. I use two colors and that is a brown from the Almay Trio palette and then I use desperation from Vice palette by Urban Decay. Then all you have to do is get dressed and braid your hair or put your hair in a up do and you're ready for work. I hope you enjoy this. I hope this helps a lot basically my goal for a simple 5 minute makeup is just to look more awake than I was and I just use the lightest colors to look more natural. If you have any other makeup looks just leave a comment below and I will definitely do that make up look for you I hope you guys are having a beautiful day and I love you guys. -Brittanie Cruz Blank Canvas

Skin Loving Haul!

Hey everyone! This is a skin loving haul that I thought I would share with you. I have been shopping around for new skin products and I did my research and Olay Fresh Effects got good ratings. I thought I would try it out so I bought the Make-up Remover Wipes and the Exfoliate. I will do a review on these two products but it will take a while to see what the results are. Awhile back I tried the Freeman Dead Sea Mineral Mask.... OhMaGoodness. This stuff is amazing, well anything from the dead sea is amazing. But seriously I put this on and waited for it to dry. I washed it off and my skin was glowing and my skin has never felt so soft I could not stop touching it. I totally recommend these I will leave a link down below. Because I loved the Dead Sea Mask I went ahead and purchased 3 more masks. I repurchased the Dead Sea Mineral Mask, I purchased the Clay Mask Mint and Lemon, and also a Revealing Peel-off Mask Pomegranate. Then I purchased blotting papers because they were cheap and I needed some.

I hope you have a beautiful life.
